Vanguard Grit Pty Ltd (“Vanguard Grit”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to transparent and reliable delivery of your orders. This Shipping Policy explains how we process, ship, and deliver orders in compliance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
1. Order Processing Times
- Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation.
- Processing times exclude weekends and public holidays.
- During peak periods, promotions, or supplier delays, processing times may be extended.
You will receive a confirmation email once your order has been processed.
2. Shipping Timeframes
Estimated delivery times vary based on product type, supplier location, and destination:
- Australia: 3–10 business days
- International: 7–25 business days
These timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
3. Split Shipments
Orders containing multiple items may be shipped separately.
This does not affect the total shipping cost charged at checkout.
4. Shipping Costs
- Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on order value, destination, and shipping method.
- Any applicable duties, taxes, or customs charges for international orders are the responsibility of the customer.
5. Delivery Address Accuracy
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping details at checkout.
We are not responsible for:
- Delays caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses
- Orders delivered to an address supplied incorrectly
Address changes cannot be guaranteed once an order has been processed.
6. Tracking Information
Where available, tracking details will be provided once your order has shipped.
Please note:
- Tracking updates may be delayed depending on the carrier
- Some international or economy services may have limited tracking visibility
7. Lost, Delayed, or Missing Deliveries
7.1 Delayed Orders
If your order has not arrived within the estimated timeframe, please contact us. We will investigate with the carrier or supplier.
Delivery delays caused by:
- Customs processing
- Carrier congestion
- Weather events
- Public holidays
are outside our control and do not automatically entitle customers to refunds.
7.2 Lost Orders
If an order is confirmed as lost in transit, we will offer:
- A replacement, or
- A refund
in accordance with the ACL.
7.3 Marked as Delivered but Not Received
If tracking shows an order as delivered but you have not received it:
- You must notify us within 7 days of the delivery date
- We may require confirmation from the carrier and/or a delivery investigation
We reserve the right to decline claims where delivery has been confirmed to the provided address.
8. Damaged Items in Transit
If your item arrives damaged:
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
- Provide clear photos of the item and packaging
Failure to report damage within this timeframe may limit our ability to assist.
9. International Shipping
For international orders:
- Customs duties, taxes, and import fees are not included unless stated
- Customers are responsible for compliance with local import regulations
Orders refused or returned due to customs issues may not be eligible for refund.
10. Risk Transfer & Title
Risk of loss passes to the customer upon delivery to the address provided.
This does not affect your rights under the ACL where goods are lost or damaged before delivery is completed.
11. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for shipping delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including:
- Natural disasters
- Pandemics
- Strikes
- Government restrictions
- Carrier disruptions
12. Fair Use & Fraud Prevention
To protect all customers, we may:
- Require additional verification for high-risk orders
- Limit reshipments where repeated delivery claims occur
- Decline claims inconsistent with carrier data
These measures do not limit consumer rights under the ACL.
